In 1989 Hal Johnson bought the company then known as Godfather Vans. Hal's vision for the company was simple: turn it into an industry leading business. Since then Godfather Customs has become one of the most successful mail order, retail, and installation businesses this industry has ever seen.

We have a 42,000sqft. building with a showroom, offices, and a warehouse all designed to keep up with the exponential growth we have experienced over the past decades. During your next visit to Decatur, Georgia be sure to visit the newly remodeled showroom complete with Sir Michaels' SEMA Show Castle display, one off Hot Wheels Chevy S-10 pickups as well as the largest display of wheels in the southeast featuring Giovanna, Status, Strada, Velocity and many more.
